Transitus Oblates are to celebrate the Liturgical Year, which is the official public worship of the Church through which Christians daily commemorate the life of Christ and His saints, and participate in the mysteries of redemption and salvation through liturgical seasons and feasts, Biblical readings and prayers, and public celebrations.
The Transitus “school of perfection”, which is essentially liturgical, is therefore based upon and rooted in the Church’s Liturgical Year primarily according to the Traditional Roman (Latin) Rite according to the Missale Romanum (Roman Missal) of Pope St. Pius V promulgated by Pope Bl. John XXIII in 1962 and never abrogated; but inclusive to all valid rites of the universal Church--East and West. In doing so, Oblates celebrate the diverse expressions of the one true worship, so that the Mystical Body of Christ--“breathing with both lungs”--may receive all the riches of the Church’s liturgical patrimony, and perpetuate them undefiled until the end of time.
Catholic members are free to follow the Catholic liturgical calendar and rite of their choice in fulfilling their ordinary obligations as Catholics and their duties as Transitus Oblates, though possessing the right to participate in the Church’s liturgical life exclusively according to the Traditional Roman Rite with it’s calendar, missal, breviary, popular devotions, customs, and spirit.
All non-Catholic members will be required to follow exclusively the Traditional Roman Rite for the fulfillment of their duties as Transitus Oblates. It is strictly forbidden to do so otherwise.
All Transitus liturgies and devotions are to be celebrated, in spirit and in truth, according to their proper rubrics in continuity with the Church’s immemorial Tradition and its perennial custom and spirit. The Council of Directors must first approve all Transitus sponsored events, with its details.
