“My God, my all.”
– St. Francis of Assisi
With St. Francis of Assisi as our primary patron and model of one who followed only one rule of life––”the teaching and the footprints of Our Lord Jesus Christ”––we do not possess nor do we seek any one particular spirituality; not even Franciscan. It has been said, “Francis was NOT a Franciscan,” for Francis was Francis, and he sought only to be Christ (alter Christus).
Thus, we are simply CHRISTIAN, MONASTIC, and LAY, and there but for the grace of God go we: a school of Christian perfection in the heart of the Church, which is Divine Merciful Love––the school of Jesus Christ.
